In 2003, Julian partnered with Chee Meng to establish KYOOB. With over two decades of experience, Julian, who graduated in architecture from the National University of Singapore, leads conceptualization, development, and project oversight across diverse typologies.

Ar. Lau Chee Meng
Founder / Managing Director

Chee Meng, as KYOOB’s Managing Director since 2003, played a pivotal role in attaining its top AR01 rank with over 20 years of experience. Overseeing a multitude of local projects as Qualified Person, he fosters collaboration to enhance architectural quality, working with dedicated professionals and stakeholders for excellence.

Ar. Sandy Ng
Director

Sandy, registered with the Board of Architects since 2002 and a graduate of the National University of Singapore, brings over 20 years of experience to KYOOB. Passionate about architectural detailing, she emphasizes quality solutions to enhance project value. Managing the administration team, she oversees operations, quality control, hiring, and staff development.

Ar. Edmond Koh
Director

Edmond obtained his bachelor of architecture degree at the National University of Singapore in 1998. He specialized in industrial and business park projects. His expertise in efficient space planning and providing value engineering solutions is a company asset that is highly valued by clients. Edmond is also a Registered Inspector (RI) for safety and design for safety professional.

Liow Shay Kheng
Director Kyoob Malaysia

With a master’s degree from the University of Malaya, Shay Kheng brings over 8 years of expertise as a project architect across Malaysia and Singapore. Proficient in design planning, authorities’ submissions, tender preparation, construction coordination, and contract administration, she now leads Kyoob Malaysia, providing BIM and technical assistance to Kyoob Singapore.

Ar. Henry Octavanus
Associate Director

Upon his graduation from NUS, Hendry was offered the role of a Project Architect with Kyoob Architects Pte Ltd in 2014 and Associate Director role in 2019. He has also been registered with the Board of Architects since 2019. He was involved in various commercial and residential projects for private clients before moving on to enhance his working experience with HDB BTO projects till date.

Ar. Vanessa Baey
Associate Director

Vanessa graduated with a master’s degree in architecture from the National University of Singapore and has over 10 years of local experience. Her strength is in residential projects, and she has led and completed several large-scale developments. She was involved in residential, commercial, and institutional developments. On top of running full-scale developments, Vanessa is involved in design competitions, Expression of Interest and feasibility studies. Registered with the Board of Architects, Vanessa has been a qualified architect since 2018.

Gomathy Chandrasegaran

Gomathy has over 9 years of experience in Singapore. She has been involved in various residential, industrial, and business park projects for public and private clients. Having a bachelor’s degree in architecture, and experience working on projects of varying typologies have enriched her approach to her work.
