City break: Cedele by The Bakery Depot

Cedele by The Bakery Depot's new café outlet at the Amara Hotel is the perfect stop whether for a wholesome bite during midday or a steaming cuppa away from the demands of work. Known for its wide array of delectable and yet healthy food, Cedele has set up shop closer to the working crowd in the heart of CBD, making it easier for its fans to dip into the Cedele's goodness while at work.

Located at level one, the café is bathed in massive swathes of natural light, lending lunch-goers warmth and relief from cooped-up air-conditioned offices. Different types of furniture pepper the space: large table slabs carved from oak timber, malt cushioned seating, and chic black chairs. Following the design language from the Cedele café at Serangoon Gardens, its iconic illustrations are emblazoned on flame glass inserts on whitewashed brick-styled walls, a modern articulation of material diversity.

References to nature are drawn from an earthy colour palette and timber furniture that wraps the café throughout. The rest of the space is styled in cool white from table surfaces to counter tops, giving the café a clean and approachable impression.
