GDF SUEZ Trading, the European energy trading arm of GDF SUEZ, the world's leading utility group in electricity, natural gas, energy and environmental services, set up a branch office in Singapore in May 2012 to be closer to its Asia Pacific clients.
With offices in various parts of Europe such as Brussels, Berlin, Paris, and Prague, the Singapore branch office is GDF SUEZ Trading's very first office outside the European region since its inception in 2011. Located at Asia Square Tower and comprising 5000 sq ft, the office, through its interior, aptly portrays the culture and identity of the GDF SUEZ corporate brand.
Shaped by GDF SUEZ's corporate values and culture, the design concept exudes modernity and sophistication and at the same time, friendly warmth – to relate to the biggest asset of the firm – its employees. Imbued in neutral monotones such as grey, black, and cool earth, and adopting classy materials such as leather, glass, and chrome, the space projects a sophistication and understated confidence.
Interesting features are also well-placed to encourage employee bonding and connecting with each other: design details such as the large vertical green panel donning the wall at the pantry cum breakout area that emanates a touch of environment during employee interaction; as well as the intricate glass fixture encasing a tanker model at the reception that projects a sense of spunk and creativity.
Kyoob-ID managed the design and build project within two months and assisted the GDF SUEZ team in the entire project management. This scope encompassed the liaison and co-ordination with GDF SUEZ Trading's management representatives from Paris who flew down to Singapore for project meetings and presentations. Kyoob-ID also provided support in systems integration as well as assisted GDF SUEZ Trading in the installation of customised system furniture.
Helping our clients from overseas integrate within the local environment is an extension of service we provide, as part of the full suite of service offering comprising test-fitting & preliminary space studies, design & concept development, cost management, and project management & consultancy.
