Project Update: Jurong Hospital Site Office

It may be a temporary office but it need not be a haphazard rehash of old looks. Hospital offices often have a clinical and understated vibe but for the Jurong Hospital temporary site office, it is remarkably different. Reminiscent of a convivial atmosphere at a theme park, the office has just the right semblance of fireworks and roller coaster rides without being overpowering.

Weaving this festival spirit within is the use of theme park elements: roller coaster steel tracks are winded into ceiling sculptures, making a statement of interlaced patterns and connoting a sense of collaboration and communication. These steel tracks are also curved into carpet motifs and furniture shapes, underscoring the carnival spirit.

What is a theme park without the scene of beautiful fireworks? Fireworks here are brought into the office with a twist; their starburst forms are splashed onto wallpaper in 2D and 3D, energising the fun working culture immediately.
