Following on the heels of previous Cedele outlets, the new F&B outlet at Hillview is adorned in similar industrialist finishes and natural palettes. Designed and then built in three months, the Cedele outlet is another retail outfit by the Bakery Depot that is leading the coffee culture in style across the country.
Known for its array of wholesome quick bites and range of delicious thirst quenchers, Cedele lets the food do most of the talking. The interior complements this delectable serving through an understated approach. A natural timber palette and raw detailing sets the backdrop for the café, a popular hangout place of many Singaporeans.
Black borders frame vertical glass panels at the façade front where the Cedele cursive signage is cast in vanilla white; the boxed up framing effuses a strong impression and yet underlines a stylish vibe of what to expect more inside.
Inside, large sturdy timber rectangular tables are the centrepieces, aisled by aluminium stilt seating in flaming red and black. On top, baby blue pendants – an interesting choice against this industrialist backdrop – hang from timber stripped ceiling. Cementing the raw edgy vibe are the cement screed flooring and the front counter that flush seamlessly from one end to another.
Red bricks stack up on one wall, adorned by muted poster displays that further align to the raw chic design. A simple shelving for to-go bread is erected in black and timber laminate at the entrance.
