message from director: Customer-focused interior

Greetings from the Kyoob-id team!

Interiors that focus on customers – their concerns, needs, and lifestyle – are bound to be more readily received than those that are not. This rings true especially in a healthcare environment where the patients’ recuperation and care are paramount. Without a conducive and therapeutic environment for rest & recuperation, a patient would not be able to fully recover.

The patient’s comfort and recuperation is hence the overriding factor driving the interior concept for one of our healthcare clients, whose facility we completed recently. The hospital interior comprises organic forms that dress the interior from curved carpentry to smooth finishing; the facility, located near the shopping belt of Orchard, also utilised a material selection that was innovative yet low-cost at the same time.

In this issue, we also look at the importance of ceiling design, a part of interior element that is often overlooked. We’d also like to share pictures of our cycling activity during the OCBC Cycling that took place in April. A good workout works not only your body but also your mind! Most importantly, we participated in the event because of a good cause for proceeds from ticket sales would contribute towards four official charities. We hope you’d enjoy what we’ve prepared for this issue.

Improving lives at the workplace is Kyoob-id’s mission, and we’ll carry on doing it with passion. We love to hear from you. Send us a note: marketing@kyoob.com.sg.
