      project update: Fircroft

Subtle sophistication

Founded in 1970, Fircroft is the global premier technical recruitment solutions company for the Oil and Gas sector. Its office at Battery Road is one of its Southeast Asia’s recruitment stops for its worldwide clients.

Subtle sophistication pervades the interior that makes use of clean, simple lines and modern materials such as stainless steel, glass, and travertine. The classy ambience takes hold when one steps into the glass reception for the first time. A charcoal statement wall, made of hand-crafted textured travertine, where Fircroft’s LED signage in spray-painted black aluminium cut-out is affixed on, draws interesting yet subtle attention. Chic, scarlet chairs at the reception provide seating for the waiting visitor as well as act as interesting window display for the understated and classy reception. The glossy grey homogeneous tiles and the abstract art by the wall add a dash of subtle sophistication and style.

Inside the office, sleek lines and grey tones shape the space. Walls are kept minimally toned with most of them painted white and grey. Cabinet fixtures are planned against the wall to provide more space for the general office; the generous window view is leveraged on by all staff with workstations planned near the windows. Taupe-hued carpeting styled with linear shapes tile the floor. The pantry similarly utilises the window view in its design to offer openness and natural sunlight for those lunching in. Bar stools in white and stainless steel give a modern vibe whereas the red laminated cabinets contribute a pop of vibrant energy.
